 Ultra ISP Windows ME Support

1. Double click on My Computer
2. Double click on Control Panel
3. Double click on the Dial-up networking then double click on Make new connection
4. Type Ultra ISP in the Type a name for the computer you are dialing box as shown below:
5. Click next. You will see the screen above in the center.
6. Type in 893-6401 in the telephone number box. Click next.
7. You will see the screen above to the right, then click finish, this will take you back to the Dial-Up Networking
window.
8. To make a shortcut on your desktop, RIGHT click on the dialer icon and select Create shortcut a box will open that
displays Windows cannot create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead? Then click
Yes and click Back to control panel window.
9. Double click on the Network icon ( if there is no network Icon you must click View all control panel options) and
you will see the screen below on the left. Select TCP/IP->Dial Up Adapter then click properties, you will see the screen below in
the center, select the DNS Properties tab (if it is not already selected). Make sure (see screen below, in the middle)
Enable DNS is checked, then in the Host box type your username, then in the Domain box type ultraisp.com. In the DNS
Server Search Order input area type in 192.168.111.5 then click Add then type in 64.9.67.2 click Add then type in
64.9.67.4 click Add then click OK then click OK again. You will be back to Control Panel your computer may say Windows is
building a driver information database, wait until this is finished (if you get this box) then windows will bring up a box: You
must restart your computer before the new settings will take effect, Do you want to restart your computer now? click Yes, wait
for your computer to reboot.
10. Double click on the Ultra ISP dialer icon on the desktop, you will seen the window below to the right and fill
in your User name and Password, check the Save password box (if you want to). Now your ready to get on the internet so Click
connect. (Your username and password won't be saved until you successfully log on).
