1. Under the Apple menu, select Control Panels. Then select ConfigPPP.
The following windows should appear. If you are starting from scratch, PPP Server is not filled in, just hit new, and Enter Ultra ISP as the server name.
Click Config.
2. You should now have the following window. Most of the defaults should be fine. Enter their local phone number in the Phone number field
Click Done.
3. Under Control Panels, open the MacTCP. Make sure that PPP is highlighted.
4. Click More.
5. Here is the heart of the settings. Here is what you need:
Class C
Obtain Address Server
Domain ultraisp.com
Ip Address 192.168.111.5
64.9.67.2
Default should be on 192.168.111.5
Click OK.
5. Under Control Panels, click on TCP/IP. You should now see the following screen. Here are the correct settings.
Connect via: MacPPP
Configure: Using PPP Server.
Name Server Address:
192.168.111.5
64.9.67.2
Additional Search Domains: ultraisp.com
Now close out that window. It should ask to you save the settings, say yes.
Now, they should be all setup. Click on the Open. The computer should now start dialing and after a successful connection, it should now say PPP up. Open a browser and go.
